Oh hello, didn’t see you come in there! Well now that you’re here, take a load off, TOKE a load off (if u kno wat i mean) and let’s get acquainted.

Who are we?

We like to cook. We love to eat. We love the devil’s lettuce. And we LOVE attention. But most of all, we love to help our fans, my mom who’s reading this (hi mom!), and everybody else realize their culinary potential.

We’re here to help you get over your kitchen based fears. We’re here to show you that your refrigerator need not be filled with nothing but expired greek yogurt, two bottles of WHITE WINE (are you okay?) and a stale package of gluten free flour tortilla based chaos (seriously, should we call someone?) We’re here to inspire you to new culinary heights and to give you a chance to step out of the day-to-day grind and create something delicious and beautiful.

Through our video and recipe CONTENT, we will transform your food story. We will be here to answer your questions, teach you new tricks, revisit some old ones, have a laugh, have a cry and have a ball.

Enough with the chit-chat. Let’s get BRAISED.

Luke Kanter created Braised. He writes various things, directs various things and can cook pretty much anything except a grilled cheese sandwich.

Alena Henke produces Braised. One time she got a little, um, baked and tried to combine her two favorite ingredients: peanut butter and sweet potatoes.

Evan Sterrett films and edits Braised. He’s very talented and very thin.

Rebeca Arango editorially consults for Braised. She made this delicious website and loves throwing Sunday suppers. You should come to the next one.
